Current origin

Colombia

Colombia has been part of Farouk Café from the start. Our first retail coffees came from Colombian lots, and much of our early time at origin was spent on Colombian farms: around harvest, at the wet mill and beside the drying beds. That experience still shapes how we evaluate and select coffee today.

Current availability

Our Colombian coffees, Farouk Reserve, Royal Blood and Blush Ember, are currently out of stock. When new Colombian lots arrive, they will be listed with the verified details of that lot, such as region, variety, process and tasting notes.

What we look for

In Colombia, as everywhere, we look for clean, distinctive cups from coffees that are carefully harvested and processed, and for relationships we can return to year after year. Processing plays a large part in the cup; our Coffee Processing Guide explains the main methods.
