Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping, orders, our coffee and wholesale: quick answers to common questions.

Orders and shipping

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China, Taiwan and the United Arab Emirates. If your country is not listed, please contact us before ordering.

How long does it take to process my order?

Orders are generally processed within 1 to 3 business days. The carrier’s transit time comes on top of that.

How much is shipping?

Shipping options, rates and delivery estimates are calculated at checkout from your destination and the contents of your order, and are shown before you pay.

Will I pay import duties?

Orders shipped outside the United States may be subject to import duties, taxes or customs fees set by the destination country. Charges that are not shown at checkout may be collected by the carrier or customs authority on delivery. More on our Shipping page.

Something is wrong with my order. What should I do?

Email info@faroukcafe.com with your order number and, where possible, photos of the package and the product. Because coffee is a food product, opened bags generally cannot be returned. See Returns & Refunds.

Our coffee

Where is your coffee roasted?

We select our coffees at origin and roast them in Arizona.

What size are the bags?

Our standard retail bag is 1 lb / 16 oz / 454 g. Limited lots are shown with a proposed size of 250 g (8.8 oz), pending packaging approval.

What do “Coming Soon” and “Limited Lot” mean?

They are previews of coffees we plan to bring home. They cannot be ordered yet; price, size and release details are confirmed once each lot is secured. See the Coming Soon lots.

Why are some coffees out of stock with no price?

Our Colombian coffees are currently out of stock. New lots will be listed with the verified details of that lot when they arrive.

What do washed, natural, honey and anaerobic mean?

They describe what happens to the coffee cherry after harvest and before roasting. Our Coffee Processing Guide explains each method.

How should I store my coffee?

Keep it airtight, cool and dark, and buy amounts you will finish within a few weeks. Whole beans keep their aroma longer than ground coffee, so grind just before brewing where you can. More in What Fresh Coffee Actually Means.

How should I brew it?

Good starting points: pour over 1:16 (15 g : 240 mL), French press 1:15 (30 g : 450 mL), espresso 1:2 (18 g : 36 mL). Adjust to taste.

Wholesale

Do you supply cafés and businesses?
